Development takes place in Suva

The two-week programme was conducted at the Fiji FA headquarters in Vatuwaqa.
“Basically the program is designed to help the kids in our community to come and learn some of the basic football lessons. We are hoping that the parents would send their children to learn something good since they are having school holidays,” Instructor Usenio Logaivau said.
The participants from the age of 6-12 years were part of the programme.
Logaivau also said that it was a pleasing to see the children attend the programme with a positive mindset.
“It was very encouraging to see the young children keen on learning the football skills and this will surely help them in future if they choose to play football at the later part of their careers,” Logaivau said.
A similar programme was conducted at the National Football Academy in Ba.
