Appointed president Faud Ali resigned from his post last week.
Ali in a statement via email sent to Fiji Football Association by Navua secretary Ashwin Chand confirmed his decision.
“It was a pleasure to serve Navua Football and I wish you all the very best moving forward. My support will always be there in future,” he said.
“I take this opportunity to thank all the officials for their support and apologise for any inconveniences caused. I feel that given my current circumstances it would be wise for me to step down.”
Fiji FA chief executive officer Bob Kumar confirmed of the resignation and the new appointment.
“Fiji FA has been notified of the change in the administration of Navua FA. Eddie Fong Toy has been appointed the interim president and the executives have informed us they will soon be holding their annual general
meeting,” Kumar said.
