Suva 4-1 Tailevu Naitasiri

Suva striker Ravinesh Karan Singh scored a hat trick in the match and has moved on top of the goal scoring sheet with four goals so far this year.
The Capital City side started the match attacking on the Tailevu Naitasiri defense but good goalkeeping by goalkeeper Lemeki Nakavou denied Suva for any early goal.
Suva showed its experience in the 27th minute when striker Singh scored the opener with a pile driver from outside the penalty box.
Tailevu Naitasiri lost possession from the center spot which show Suva midfielder Pita Rabo giving a long pass to Singh who scored his second just a minute later.
The lead boosted the Capital City side and applied more pressure on Tailevu Naitasiri defense which saw Singh getting his hat-trick in added time.
Tailevu Naitasiri came in more organised in the second spell with few changes from the bench but still they could not manage a goal as Suva dominated the match.
In the 52nd minute Suva’s Sakaraia Naisua added another goal and Tailevu Naitasiri’s Vikrant Chandra pulled one back in the 68th minute.
Suva coach Gurjit Singh said they played a good game and they have to focus more as the win from now on is crucial.
“We still have some problems in our finishing which we have to work more for our next match.
“Our next game will be tough, so now we will have to leave this win behind and focus more for our next match against Nadroga.
Tailevu Naitasiri coach Abdul Zaman said his boys played well but it was disappointing they lost.
“We really need to go back to the drawing board and work on our defense and finishing.
Tailevu Naitasiri will play Ba in their next match while Suva will host Nadroga this Sunday at ANZ Stadium.
