Whites coach wary of Dreketi

“We are not going to underestimate Dreketi as we know they will be playing in front of their fans which will be to their advantage,” the former Labasa goalkeeper said.
“It’s going to be tough as Dreketi got some experienced players. All teams are preparing well for the tournament.”
Singh said they would not be strong in this year’s Courts IDC compared to their form last year when they won.
“We have lost most of our senior players to other districts but we have some new players to fill the vacuum but they are not of the same calibre. But we have tried our best to build our combination and formation with these new players.”
Singh said they have lost defenders Kolinio Sivoki and Dave Radrigai to Lautoka while Leone Damudamu has switched to Labasa and Napolioni Qasevakatini has returned to Nadi.
“Our utility player Noa Vukica had been trying to secure his contract overseas “said Singh.
Singh said they are happy that defender Jale Dreloa is with the team and is not moving to Rewa. Also the return of Antonio Tuivuna has released some pressure.
Suva have recruited Nadroga’s Don Raj, Epeli Lairoti, Tomasi Tuicakau and Tailevu/ Naitasiri’s KaliovaTivulu.
Suva take on Dreketi at 1pm on Saturday at Subrail Park, Labasa.
