U20 ready for Mexico

This will be the first of the two matches; the side will play ahead of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup, which takes place in New Zealand from May 30th.
Coach Frank Farina says the players have adjusted well with the condition in Sydney and they are ready to face Mexico.
“The cold condition in Australia is suiting the players ahead of the World Cup and this is the reason, the side has undertaken the Australia tour.
We will be playing World Cup in New Zealand during winter and this will be the first time most of the players experience such conditions.
“It’s good to have this preparation in Sydney where it is lot colder than in Fiji. It’s a good progression if you like before arriving in New Zealand.
“The warm up match against Mexico will let us to iron out our weakness and strength and were we stand, said Farina.
“They will be ready for the cold weather and hopefully well-adjusted by the time we get to Christchurch.
Fiji plays their first match against Germany on June 1st at Christchurch Stadium.
The team will also play Columbia in a friendly match on Monday before heading to Auckland.
