Women’s IDC Pools Out

The Women’s IDC starts this Friday at Govind Park in Ba and will conclude on Sunday. 12 teams are part of the tournament this year.
Susan Wise, the Fiji FA Women’s football director says everything is on track for a grand event.
“The stage is set for the annual Women’s IDC which no doubt is a vital part of our calendar,” Wise said.
“With the national women’s side taking part in the OFC u17 and Pacific Games next year this event should provide the players with an opportunity to prove themselves and earn the white jumper.”
Bob Kumar, the Fiji FA chief executive officer says entry will be free for the general public.
“Entry will be free for the general public,” Kumar said.
“We would like to the football fans to come out in numbers and support women’s football in the country which is in the developing phase.”
The pool draws for the 2014 Fiji FA Women’s IDC took place this morning at the Fiji FA Headquarters in Vatuwaqa.
Pool 1 : Labasa, Tavua, Nadroga
Pool 2: Lautoka, Navua, Suva
Pool 3: Rewa, Nadi, Savusavu
Pool 4: Ba, Nasinu, Lami

Friday November 28
1.30pm- Official Opening, 2pm- Labasa vs Tavua, 3.15pm- Lautoka vs Navua, 4.30pm- Rewa vs Nadi, 5.45pm- Ba vs Nasinu
Saturday November 29
10am- Tavua vs Nadroga,11.15am- Navua vs Suva, 12.30pm- Nadi vs Savusavu, 1.45pm- Nasinu vs Lami, 3pm- Labasa vs Nadroga, 4.15pm- Lautoka vs Suva, 5.30pm- Rewa vs Savusavu, 6.45pm- Ba vs Lami.
Sunday November 30
9.30am- SF1 (Winner P1 vs Winner P3), 10.45am- SF2 (Winner P2 vs Winner P4), 3pm- Grand Final, 4.15pm- Presentation
