No official allowed in camp

No officials from participating districts will be allowed to visit the Vodafone Fiji team players in camp to sign them for their districts after the Fiji FA mid-season transfer window was open yesterday.

Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf confirmed that no officials would be allowed to visit the national camp and campaign because they were focusing on Pacific Games and they need to be left alone.

“We have allowed 2pm to 3pm on Wednesday and any player who is wishing to ask for transfer and the districts solicitor will only be allowed to go and get the players signature because he has to witness that and no officials will be allowed, “said Yusuf.

Yusuf said since the transfer window was open they would only accept completed documents.

“We will only accept fully completed forms with appropriate fee and we will not accept partial forms.”

‘This is the chance for players to add value to themselves and if they want to move and get better deal they are most welcome, “said Yusuf.

The transfer window closes on July 15.
