Fiji FA Nominates Popular Players

Fiji Football Association in conjunction with Vodafone Fiji have a set a platform for the public to vote for the Fiji FA/Vodafone Popular Player of the Year 2016.

Fiji FA chief executive officer Bob Kumar says the five players from different districts have been nominated and will be awarded during the Global Flight Center/Fiji FA Awards Night to be held on March 18 at Yue Lai Hotel in Suva.

“This is a great way to acknowledge our players for their hard work and I must thank Vodafone Fiji for setting up such plat form, “Kumar said.

Kumar added that the players have their own fans and are best followed by their fans and will want their best player to win something for their district.

“We know the fans have their own favorite players and all the five players have done something for their district to gain popularity.”

Kumar said it was on fans now to support the players by texting on the Vodafone Fiji platform which would be advertised soon.

“The fans will also get some awesome prizes to win as they vote for their favorite player and go into the draw, “he said.

Each text will cost 50 cents and watch for more in this weekend’s newspapers and social media pages.
