Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel says fans can expect a very entertaining and quality football when the Vodafone Fiji national team takes on New Zealand All Whites this Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
“We are also pleased to see our Bula Boys back in action at the newly redeveloped Lautoka grounds, which have an historic appeal for our national side, “said Patel
Patel said in 2008, Fiji earned a 2-0 victory over the All Whites in one leg of the home-and-away Nations Cup competition.
“We have beaten New Zealand in 2008 with two goal from our wonder boy Roy Krishna and It would be a great delight to fans if we were able to see history repeat itself on Saturday
He said the fans would have the opportunity to see some best players in action.
“I know for myself, and Fiji football fans, the opportunity to see some of the best players in the region in action for New Zealand will be a treat, “he said.
Pate said he would also like to see our side do the necessary to claim three points and keep Group A alive.
“I wish the best of luck to both Fiji and New Zealand on Saturday and will be cheering from the stands along with everyone else.
The Fiji vs All Whites match kicks off at 1pm. Fans could purchase the tickets from Luatoka City Council, JK Builders Office in Nadi and Fiji FA Headquaters in Vatuwaqa.
The ticket prices are Pavilion A $15, B $10 and C $5.
