Bottom two winless

Suva beat Lautoka 2-0 last Sunday at Churchill Park to further extend their lead on top of the standings. Navua lost to Nadi 3-1 at Prince Charles Park.

After four losses each Lautoka and Navua cannot afford to take this situation lightly as the bottom placed team at the end of the season will be demoted to the premier division.
“After four matches the boys are not performing. The boys are too soft and that’s why we are losing week in and week out,” Dennis Singh the Lautoka head coach told SunSports.
Suva afters its fourth straight victory is riding high and is looking to maintain their good run.
Elsewhere defending league champions Ba thumped Nadroga 6-0 to claim their second victory in the competition.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal says exciting matches will follow in the coming rounds.
“After four rounds we can see that the competition level is really competitive and teams are gunning for victories. It will be interesting to see if Suva is able to maintain their lead on top as other teams are out to claim the top spot,” Pal said.
The Fiji FA competitions manager further stated that the premier division competition will start next month.
