Tuilau joins Hekari

Tough defender Ilaitia Tuilau has followed in the footsteps of former Labasa reps Pita Bolaitoga, Taniela Waqa and Maciu Dunadamu to join the Papua New Guinea (PNG) based Hekari United side.
Bob Kumar, the Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) chief executive officer said they have issued the international transfer certificate and that Tuilau has been given the green light to feature for Hekari.
The 2011-2012 O-League season resumes this weekend with match day four matches scheduled to take place.
Tuilau had a grand 2011 season with the Labasa side and was part of the Labasa side which won the 2011 Courts Inter District Championship at the TFL National Stadium in Suva.
He also earned a spot in the senior national men’s side for the Pacific Games in New Caledonia last year.
Tuilau will have no problem stepping up his performance against some of the best talents in the region as he has played in the O-League with his former Lautoka side.
Labasa rep Samuela Kautoga recently signed up with Vanuatu champions Amicale FC while Roy Krishna rejoined his New Zealand based Waitakere United side after the Court IDC.
