Around 50,000 people attended the 2013 Fiji Sun GP Batteries Football League which concluded last month.
National League board secretary Amitesh Pal thanked the die-hard football fans for their support.
“The 2013 Fiji Sun GP Batteries National Football League was a major success. I would like to thank the fans which turned out in numbers to make this event a successful one,” Pal said.
According to the league board, the 2014 season is shaping up to be an even better one.
“We have got one premier match left and the U21 League. In two weeks that should be completed and then the focus will turn to the 2014 season. With only eight teams in the Super Premier and direct demotion at the end of the season this will no doubt intensify the competition,” he added.
