Savaii National League Kicks off

The 2016 Savaii National League kicked off on Saturday morning April 2nd 2016 at the FFS Regional Centre in Iva, Fa’asaleleaga Savaii. Number of clubs registered for this year’s tournament has increased from eight to ten clubs
According to Tam Falute (Savaii’s Manager) there has been a steady growth in the development of football in Savaii. This has been seen with players from savaii representing samoa in recent national teams (u17 boys, u17 and u20 girls).
The Savaii National League is part of the Football Federation’s Annual Tournaments. The league will run for 10 weeks.
The tournament is divided in to five divisions (Senior Men & Women, Under 17 boys & girls, Under 15 boys & girls, Under 12 girls & boys.
