Energizer 4R Electrical Ba was scheduled to play Nivea Savusavu at 7pm on Friday night and Puma Labasa on Sunday 1pm.
National Football League board chairman Dr. Hari Kewal says other matches will go on as scheduled.
“Due to the closer of Subrail Park by the Labasa Town council the Savusavu vs Ba and Labasa vs Ba, both these Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Football League matches have been postponed.
“According to the Labasa Town Council the ground is wet and in a pathetic condition. The remaining 3 matches will be played as per advertisement. Any inconvenience caused to the teams, football fans, news media and others due to above cancellation is regretted,” Dr. Kewal said.
