Labasa ready for Whites

“We are quite confident of beating Suva on their home turf, our team have covered the hard yards with the players, officials and our coach which has helped us to prepare well for the feature match this weekend.,” Labasa FA assistant secretary Nilesh Lal said.
The side wants to avenge for its loss earlier this season losing to Suva 3-1 at Subrail Park and Lal believes taking revenge is the Suva’s home ground will be sweetest victory.
“Suva has beaten us previously at our home ground and we want to take revenge by beating them at their home ground.
Our team is excited to play in the newly renovated ANZ Stadium with the new turf which would take the level of football to another standard.
The response which we have been getting tells us that playing at the venue would be something positive and it will definitely go well with us since we are mostly playing ground balls with our speedy strikers.” Lal added.
Lal is urging all the Babasiga Lions fans staying in Suva to come out in numbers and support the team as vocal support is vital for the win and the side is counting on it for a positive result.
The much anticipated match kicks off 3pm on Sunday.
