League concludes this month

Amitesh Pal, national league board secretary says the competition for this year is nearing to completion.
“The league matches so far has been on track and we are left with few of the matches but it will be played in the coming weeks.
After a break the National Football League will resume from this weekend with the number of matches to be played at the venues around the country.
“We have got some of the exciting matches to be played this weekend at the various venues around the country. Firstly, ANZ Stadium will host five matches over the two days which includes three Super Premier matches and two premier division matches. The teams had a break after the Vodafone Fiji FACT but they will be coming in the full force to win and better their standing on the points table while Prince Charles Park will host the Fiji FACT champions Nadi and the semifinalist Rewa on Saturday which is going to be one of the exciting match this weekend as Nadi lost to Rewa and the jetsetters would want to take revenge while Rewa would want to keep they recent record intact,” Pal said.
Premier division Youth league is also commencing this week and Pal says it is they are looking forward to finish all the matches in the National Football League at the end of this month.
“The commencement of the matches in the Premier division youth will start from this weekend with Rakiraki Youth and then from next week Southern division Premier league will start with Lami, Tailevu Naitasiri and Nasinu participating,”
The Northern Premier division league matches will resume from later this month where the winner from the north will play the winner from Viti Levu.
“Northern Premier league matches will be played from 19 to 21 of this month at Subrail Park in Labasa, the winner from the northern zone will qualify to play Nasinu as the winner from Viti Levu has already been decided.” he said.
