Tavua versus Labasa

Tavua bottom placed on the National Football League standing will be playing for three points which would matter the most for the gold miners if they are to stay in the Super Premier next year. Labasa will be on high after having a good break and will be coming with only one aim to win.
Labasa took it out in the first round of play when the Babasiga lions thrashed Tavua 4-0 at Subrail Park in Labasa. Labasa will be trying to repeat the history this Saturday but Tavua stands in their way wanting to pile up as many points they could to secure their place in the Super Premier next year.
Tavua battles it out with Labasa on Saturday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi 1pm.
Jacks Nadi will be out to regain their first place on the points table after failing to do so against Navua when they were shocked by the southerners with 3-1 win last weekend. Jetsetters however would not be taking things lightly knowing that minnows can do them the damage. Savusavu just like Tavua is also in a do or die situation and needs to win their remaining National Football League matches. When the two sides met in North in first round Savusavu managed to hold Tavua to a 1-all draw as Savusavu will be trying go one step further this time.
The match will be played at 3pm at the Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
Suva, Navua and Rewa travels to Lawaqa Park to play their matches away from away due to unavailability of grounds. In the first match it will be the battle of the rivals Suva and Navua. Capital City boys have beaten Anaconda boys 4-0 in the previous encounter at the same venue but this time Navua will come out firing and confidence will be beaming in the side after becoming the second team to beat Nadi. Navua will come in the match with a win over Nadi last weekend and will try to make Suva their victim.
The match kicks off at 1pm at Lawaqa Park in Nadroga.
Rewa with the inclusion of Labasa goalie Akuila Mateisuva will be facing Stallions at home.
Nadroga though they lies ahead of Tavua and Savusavu, they are yet not out of the danger zone as they can become the prey of Tavua and Savusavu.
The side would not be taking any chances lightly but they will give their all against Rewa.
Nadroga takes on Rewa 3pm after Suva and Navua clash.
The football fever then returns to Prince Charles Park for the second time in the weekend hosting Tavua and Savusavu at 1pm. Both the teams will battle it out as a win for Savusavu would mean they would exchange the position with Tavua while a win for Tavua will take them to six points on the standing.
Feature match of this weekend Jacks Nadi takes on Labasa at 3pm. Labasa will be out to stop Nadi from winning the encounter and stop them bettering their position on the points standing. Last time when the jetsetters and Babasiga lions met the scores were in favour of Nadi as they defeated Labasa 2-1. The much anticipated match will kick off at 3pm at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
