Roy creates History

His goal helped Wellington Phoenix pull off a 2-2 draw against Melbourne Hearts last Sunday.
The Fijian international striker was signed by the New Zealand franchise after a short stint with Auckland City at the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.
The Labasa lad made his second consecutive start on Sunday and scored inside the first seven minutes of the match and later assisted in the second goal.
Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel says this was yet another major achievement for the young striker.
“The local football fans have been waiting for this and I’m proud to say that Roy has finally done it. Fiji FA is pleased that he is playing professionally and would like to see him continue playing at the top level,” Patel said.
“Roy has been working hard and this has been proven when he started for Phoenix for the second consecutive time. I would like to thank him for being a good ambassador for Fiji
football and I’m sure he will continue to progress in his career.”
Roy is set to bring his wealth of knowledge to the Fiji side which will be participating in the 2015 Pacific Games and later the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
