Coach Joseph Nitya Nand said they would once again hand over the captaincy role to Qase because he had shown us his capabilities during the Vodafone Fiji FACT this year.
“Qase will lead the team again as I think he has shown his leadership capabilities and is a good and lucky leader, “said Nand.
The 2016 Vodafone Fiji FACT winning coach said they were prepared well for the tournament.
“Well we are preparing well and everyone is fit and injury free.”
Nand said he had ironed out all the mistakes from the Vodafone Fiji FACT after playing friendly matches with Nadroga and Lautoka.
“Yes I have worked on the new structure and style playing and the fans could expect much better ball possession from the Jetsetters which will be entertaining.
Nand said they would miss the service of Vodafone Fiji U20 capatin Mataiasi Toma who is away on national duties.
However he said he had Luke Rawadamu who would replace him and also we had drafted some youth players in the squad.
Nand aims to repeat the Vodafone Fiji FACT final and give Nadi its fourth Battle of the Giants title.
Nadi travels to Nausori tomorrow and plays its first match against the host Rewa at 7.30pm.
