The semi-finalists for the 2022 Digicel Women’s IDC have been confirmed after the end of group stages on Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
In Group A, Labasa after two wins and a draw tops the points table with seven points while Rewa o also earned seven points with two wins and a draw but the better goal difference puts Labasa on the top of the table.
Labasa and Rewa played to a 1-1 draw in the opening match, won 3-2 against Nadroga and thrashed Navua 11-0 in its final group match while Rewa won 7-0 against Navua and defeated Nadroga 2-0 in the final group match today.
Ba tops Group B with 9 points and Tailevu Naitasiri finishes second with six points.
The Ladies in Black defeated Suva 7-2, thrashed Tailevu Naitasiri 7-0, and won 3-1 against Nadi while Tailevu Naitasiri with a loss to Ba, defeated Nadi 2-0 and Suva 3-0.
The semi-finals will be played this Saturday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi during the All-in-One Cakes & Restaurant Pacific Community Cup.
In the semi-finals on Saturday, defending champions Labasa will take on Tailevu Naitasiri in the first semifinal at 10.30 am.
Group B winners Ba will come up against Group A runners-up Rewa in the second semifinal at 1.45 pm.
The finals will be played on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the stage is set for the 2022 All-in-One Builders Pacific Community Cup which kicks off this Thursday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
The first match kicks off at 4 pm on Thursday with Gurjit Singh coached USA All-Stars taking on AUFFI All-Stars followed by Labasa vs Suva match at 5.15 pm.
The official opening will be held at 6.30 pm.
At 6.45 pm host Nadi will face Ba while the final match of Day One will be played between defending champions Lautoka and NZFFI All-Stars.
NZFFI All-Stars and Suva start day two of the tournament on Friday at 3.30 pm followed by Ba vs USA All-Star match at 4.45 pm.
6 pm will see Nadi taking on AUFFI All Stars while Lautoka and Labasa will wrap up day two at 7.15 pm.
The final group matches will be played on Saturday. At 12.30 pm AUFFI All-Stars will face Ba FC and at 3.35 pm Nadi will take on the USA All-Stars. At 5 pm Lautoka and Suva will take the field while NZFFI All Stars and Labasa FC will end the group stages at 6.15.
The semi-finals and final will be played on Sunday.
