The defending champions of the Vodafone Women’s Inter-District Championship, Ba is being drawn in a pool of death with last year’s runners-up Labasa, Nadi, and southern champions Tailevu Naitasiri in Pool B.
Hosts, Suva leads Pool A with Rewa, Nadroga, and Nasinu.
Nasinu returns in the IDC after a lapse of six years.
Ba captain Luisa Tamanitokula said this year’s tournament would be tough.
“We know we are drawn with some of the top teams and this what will make is work hard for the tournament.”

Labasa coach Arthur Simons said they were happy with draw.
“There will be no weak team in this tournament as we know every team is coming prepared as well as us and we will take each game as it comes, “said Simon
“All teams will come prepared and our aim is to do better than last year and win the title. The mission will be tough but not impossible. We will try our best to keep playing one-touch football and maintain a good discipline.”
Nasinu women’s team is making a comeback after six years at the 2020 Vodafone Women’s Inter District Championship.
Nasinu captain Adi Arieta said they wwould make a strong comeback despite being drawn in a tough pool.
Meanwhile Fiji Football Association chief executive Mohammed Yusuf has confirmed that drug test will be conducted during the 2020 Vodafone Women’s Inter District Competition.
Yusuf says the drug test will for the betterment of players as they are developing women in soccer.
The Winner will receive $4000 and the runner-up will get $1000.
The Women’s IDC will be played along side the Men’s competition from the 6th to the 11th of next month.
