The pool draws for the 2020 Vodafone Women’s Inter District Championship will be held tomorrow at Fiji FA Headquarters in Vatuwaqa.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal said for the first time the women’s IDC would be played during Courts IDC.
“This will be for the first time fans will have opportunity to watch our women footballers in action during Courts IDC,’ said Pal
Pal said eight teams have been confirmed after their standing in the Vodafone Women’s Senior League.
“Labasa is the lone team form north while south have Tailevu Naitasiri, Rewa, Suva and Nasinu. Ba Nadroga and Nadi have qualified from west,”
Pal confirmed that Suva as host and Ba as defending champions will lead the pool each.
“The winner of the 2020 Vodafone Women’s IDC will walk away with $4000 while runner up gets $1500 in prizemoney.
The IDC will be played from October 6-11 at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
