Labasa hero Siotama Kubu dedicated his winning goal to his son Tevita Tuinawawaibuvu and the Labasa fans.
Speaking to Fiji FA media Kubu said he was proud to score the winning goal.
“I am so happy and thank the almighty for giving me strength today (Sunday) to do wonders for Labasa,”
‘I know the Labasa fans have been waiting for this long and today (Sunday) in dedicate this win to all Labasa fans.
The former Lautoka rep said it was his dream goal.
“It was always a dream to score in the final and it came and once again I thank God for the giving me the talent.
“I also dedicate this win to my only son who will be celebrating his first birthday on August 23 ad this is for him, “said Kubu.
Kubu broke the hearts of many Blues fans with a goal in the 79th minute after connecting well with a drop kick from goalkeeper Akuila Mataisuva and chipping the ball over Lautoka goalkeeper Benaminio Mateiniqara.
The lanky striker also scooped the Best Player of the Tournament for his excellent performance.
