Four teams have been confirmed from the western zone for the 2020 Vodafone Futsal Inter District Champions to be played next month in Suva.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal confirmed that Nadi,Ba, Nadroga and Tavua have made it to Futsal IDC.
“Nadi has won the Vodafone Futsal League Western Zone unbeaten in the competition while Ba finish second on the points table with 12 points, Nadroga is on third place and Tavua on fourth,”
Pal said that this they would have ten teams participating in the tournament.
“Last year we had eight teams but this year we have extended to ten, “he said
“So we will have five teams from South, four from west and one from north,” confirmed Pal.
In the Vodafone Southern Futsal League Navua is currently leading the points table 10 points. They have played four matches in which they won three and drew one. In second position is defending champions Suva with six points. Rewa and Lami both have played three matches are with five points two draws and one win each.
Tailevu Naitasiri is on fifth position after playing four matches with four points while Northland Tailevu is on sixth place with three points and Nasinu at the bottom of the table without any win.
From the Vodafone Futsal League Northern Zone, Labasa looks favorite after two wins last weekend.
