NZOTC Nasinu Football Club coach Mira Sahib says he is impressed with his team’s performance despite losing three consecutive matches in the Digicel Premier League.
Nasinu lost 2-4 against Suva in round five of the competition on Sunday at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
Sahib said they had a very young outfit this season.
“So far if you see the results of our matches, we have been narrowly beaten and we have scored goals as well.”
“The results will not come overnight with these young players and I can assure that the team will be to reckon in future,”
“They have been improving game by game and just inexperience is lacking as players are late in making the right decision at a critical time,”
“My players need more game time and for sure they will improve.
“They have been learning after each match and are eager to get the win but at the end, the experience is counted,”
“I know everyone wants their team to win but they should understand Nasinu is a new team playing in the top level and for sure they will get the Giant Killers tag back. I have faith in my players,”
Sahib said they would try their best to bounce back this weekend.
“I urge fans to be patient we will do our best against Navua this weekend. We will work our mistakes and will come up with better performance,”
“There has been some positive feedback regarding the performance of the boys as they have played a well organised and possession-based football which we will see in our match against Navua on Sunday.
