The 2021 Vodafone Premier League is set to kick off next month.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal confirmed that the fixture for the VPL has been released and the team have started their preparation.
“We had a very competitive VPL competition last year and I am sure it will be more exciting this year,” said Pal
“We are set to start the competition on the first week of February and the eight teams in the Premier Division are getting ready for the league,”
Pal said the season will start with the two leg Champion vs Champion series.
“The 2021 season will kick-off on January 29 where the 2020 Vodafone Premier League winners Suva and Courts IDC champions Labasa will clash for the CVC title,”
“The VPL proper starts on February 6 with Labasa vs Ba match which will be played at Subrail Pak in Labasa upon the availability of the ground,”
“On Sunday, February 7 will see Rewa host Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park while Navua will battle Lautoka at Uprising Sports Center and Nadi will host Nadroga at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. All the matches will kick off at 3pm.
