Fiji Football Association referees director Rakesh Varman is currently in Papua New Guinea taking FIFA Member Associations referees course.
This is the first time Varman has been appointed as a FIFA Instructor.
Varman said it was a huge achievement for him and Fiji Football.
‘It a milestone achievement for me and Fiji FA as I will be one of the instructors at the FIFA MA Course in PNG,”
“My hard work for three years paid off. I have been taking course around Fiji for the past three years and this is the first time I have given opportunity to instruct overseas,”
Meanwhile two Fijian referees Avinesh Narayan and Kavitesh Bihari have also selected to officiate at the 2019 Pacific Cup in New Zealand from November 28 to December 1
