The race is on for the champion title of the 2022 Digicel U17 Youth League southern zone after the first round was completed last Saturday at the Uprising Sports Center in Pacific Harbour.
Suva U17 side maintained its winning streak beating Tailevu Naitasiri 4-1 and sits in the second spot with 11 points with three wins and two draws.
Rohan Prasad, Tevita Ramakasoi, Rishal Shankar and Leone Salele scored for the Suva side while Mervin Chand netted one for Tailevu Naitaisiri.
Rewa humiliated Northland Tailevu 3-0 with a double from Mosese Namumu and Rohan Nair.
The win puts the Baby Tigers on top of the point table ladder with 12 points. Rewa won four matches and lost one.
Tailevu Naitasiri sits on third place with four points, Nasinu on fourth with two points, Navua on sixth while Northland Tailevu sits on the bottom of the points table with one point.
In round six, Tailevu Naitasiri will play Northland Tailevu, Rewa will battle Nasinu and Navua will take on Suva.
