The Rewa U16 side aims to defend its title in the Vodafone U16 Youth League this year.
Coach Rajneeta Kumar says they had good outings in the competition so far and would like to continue its unbeaten run in the competition.
“We have topped the points table in the first round and so far we are happy with performance of the boys,” she said.
Kumar said Rewa was fully committed in the development of players in the district.
“We are really committed in the development of football here in Rewa and the results shows how determined are we,” Kumar said.
“These are our future stars and I am proud to guide them,” Kumar said.
She said they have players who are 12-15 years but they all are passionate footballers.
“We introduced a 12 year boy in our last match and he really did well and I am sure he must be inspiration for other players”
“Avishaan Chand may be the youngest player playing in the competition and I am proud to see the potential he have and for sure he has a bright future in football,” added Kumar
Kumar added that they would continue developing future Rewa reps and urged parents to support their kids if they have love for football.
