Rakiraki extended its lead in the 39th minute via a goal from Ronald Dutt but their celebration was cut short with a minute later from a goal from Solomon Islander Harry Dawson Nuboa

Both teams went to breather with 2-all draw.

Nuboa extended Nasinu’s lead in the 59th minute while Rohil Ram found the equaliser in the 69th minute.

It was the brilliance of Manehenitain the 90th minute that gave the Mira Sahib coached side its second victory in the competition.

Sahib said away game was always tough but they managed to escape with a win.

“It is always tough to play away game as Rakiraki had the advantage but I am proud of my boys for showing the fighting spirit till the final whistle, “said Sahib.

“It’s not the end but we need to work harder to make our mark and achieve our objective,”

Sahib said Rakiraki was a good side.

“They really gave us a tough game but we have learnt a lot from game and we will iron out of mistakes before facing Tailevu Naitasiri in our next match.
