Tigers wary of Stallions

THE Rewa football has moved its focus to an unpredictable Nadroga side in the round five of the Digicel Premier League this weekend.

Coach Rodick Singh says they will not underestimate Nadroga side in their clash this Sunday.

“They are always unpredictable and can fight back at any time and they will surely put up a tough battle against us. Playing against them will not be easy because they will want to beat us since they haven’t won any game.”

“We know the game will be intense but we have started with the early measure because we want to win. We are going to put up a star studded side because the match will be competitive where we will play Nadroga after five years and in five year’s things change and I’m sure that a lot in the Nadroga team has changed. Their performance, the way they approach the game and every little thing must have changed.”

“We have to work on putting up an intense match where we give them a tough time and get the win. The boys have been working hard and are showing positive progress during the training which gives us a hope to win,”added former Rewa rep

The Delta Tigers registered its first win in the DPL against Navua in round four two weeks ago after losing to Suva 0-1, draw against Lautoka and Labasa and sit on sixth place on the points table.
