Kavaia Rawaqa’s spot-kick in the dying minutes of the match gave Rewa the win.
The Marika Rodu-coached side remains only unbeaten in the competition and now has 26 points, two more than Suva who have slipped to the second spot as their match against Labasa was postponed.
Ba remains third with 22 points and could have claimed the second spot had they beaten Navua but they went down 3-0.
Lautoka after its 3-1 win over Nadroga is fourth with 21 points while Nadi completes the top five after its 1-0 win over Nasinu and now has 20 points.
