The Fiji Football Association inducted five more heroes into the Legends Club during the official opening ceremony of the All in one Cakes & Restaurant Pacific Community Cup 2022 at Prince Charles Park, Nadi last week.
These are former Nadi and national reps Prem Chand, Peter Dean, and Henry Dyre.
Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said all legends inducted would be the special guests in every Fiji FA function and will be given a lifetime pass to all the major tournaments and events.
This legends program initiative of President Rajesh Patel started in 2017 and one of its main objectives is to recognize the contribution and give back to those footballers who have played their hearts out at the International arena and brought medals for Fiji.
Yusuf said there were more than 65 members in the club.
“We have been honoring all the former players for their contribution to football,”
