Nine team in the southern division and nine teams in the western division will be participating in the Vodafone National Club Championship this year.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal confirmed receiving the nomination from the distrcits.
“Yes we have received nominations from the districts and the zonal play off will held this weekend at two venues,”Pal said.
“The southern zone play off will be played at Fiji FA Academy Ground while the western zone will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this weekend.”
He said the nine teams from both division would be drawn in three pools.
“We will have three pools in both divisions, “Pal said.
Pal said the winners and runners up and a best team from each division would qualify for the final play-offs next weekend.
“The winners and runners up a best team from each pool will qualify for the final play-offs, ”Pal said.
Pal also added that new players would not be allowed to feature in their clubs.
“Players who have taken their transfer will be not be eligible to play in the NCC as our they will only be allowed to play in the new season.”
