Tailevu Naitasiri rules senior league battle

The Tailevu Naitasiri football side has taken the lead in the Digicel Senior League after the end of round four of the competition.

The Nigel Khan coached side thrashed Lami 9-0 in their last outing last Sunday at Uprising Sports Center in Pacific Harbour.

A hat trick by Solomon Islander Stephen Kwaitee, a double from Abishek Deo and a goal each from Rusiate Qio, Kavinesh Lal and Moses Nabose gave Tailevu Naitasiri an impressive win to top the DSL points table.

After for four matches the side now sits with ten points after three wins and draw.

Nasinu after a draw against Tavua last weekend is on second spot with eight points after two wins and two draws.

Rakiraki after a 1-0 win against Northland Tailevu in the weekend goes on third place with seven points while Northland Tailevu sits in fourth place with six points.

Tavua is in fifth place with two points while Lami sits on the bottom of the points table and is yet to register a point.
