Tailevu Naitasiri Football Club has moved up to ninth position in the Digicel Fiji Premier League after a 1-0 win over Nasinu in Round 15 of the competition last Sunday.
A goal in the injury time of the second spell from Turendra Kumar pushed Nasinu to the bottom of the table with Tailevu Naitasiri on a better goal difference.
After 15 matches, Nasinu and Tailevu Naitasiri have 12 points each, but the Sky-Blue colors have a goal difference of -14, while Nasinu has -19.
There have been no other changes from round 14, after Flowserve Engineering Navua FC and Flick Hygiene Suva FC played to a 2-2 draw, while the Nadi FC and Extra Supermarket Labasa FC fixture ended in a 1-all draw.
DPL points table leaders Rewa FC, second-placed Lautoka FC, Rooster Chicken Ba FC, and Nadroga FC were on a bye last weekend due to Lautoka and Rewa have five players in the national team camp preparing for the FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series between Fiji, Hong Kong-China and Solomon Islands next month.
The Digicel Fiji Premier League goes into a week’s break and will resume on September 14.
