Solomon Islander Marlon Tahioa is so far only player that has been transferred in the pre-season transfer window which was open on January 1.
Fiji FA Player Registration and Transfer Manager Rohitesh Narayan confirmed that Tahioa was cleared to feature for Labasa this season.
“Labasa has secured Tahioa’s release from Nasinu and there was no issues so he is the only player that has been officially signed off in the pre-season transfer window,” said Narayan.
Narayan said there was lots or rumors about player movements but they were yet receive applications from the districts.
“We have not received any major player transfer application yet but like always it will be a last minute rush by the districts,”
Narayan also confirmed that former Suva rep Ivan Kumar who played in New Zealand last season has secured his International Transfer Clearance and would be able to feature for Suva this season.
The pre-season transfer window closes on January 31.
