Veteran Usaia Tadu has been appointed to guide the Rewa Women’s Football team to the 2021 Super League competition.
Tadu who has served Rewa as a player for many years will now have the task to mentor the women’s team for the first ever Fiji FA Super Six League competition.
Speaking to Fiji FA Media, Tadu said he was proud to be appointed as the coach of the team.
“It is my privilege and honor to be appointed as the coach for the women’s team and I thank Rewa FC executives for giving me the opportunity and having faith in me, “said Tadu
Tadu attended the OFC Senior Coaching Certificate Course last weekend at Fiji FA Academy in Suva.
“I have gained more knowledge as a coach after attending the Senior Coaching Certificate last weekend and now I know how to mentor the team as a coach after being player for many years.”

The Lakena, Nausori lad said he was looking forward for the challenge and would take each match as it comes.
“Our first game is against Tailevu Naitasiri this weekend and we are preparing well for the opener but we will take each game as it comes.”
“We know the strength of them and they will also come prepared against us but we will have game plan to counter the southern champions,”
“Tailevu Naitasiri is a good team and they have some young and energetic players and they will be aiming to start the reason on high note like every team but we are ready for the match this Sunday, “said Tadu
The Rewa vs Tailevu Naitaisiri match of the Fiji FA Super League will be played as a curtain-raiser for the Suva vs Rewa match of the National League next Sunday at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
