Suva goes into the All in One Cakes & Restaurants Pacific Community Cup 2022 on a high note after winning the Digicel Fiji FACT and Courts IDC this year.
This year the Capital City side has proven they are a tournament team and have what it takes to come out of a tough pool and go ahead and win the tournaments.
They have maintained the same squad that won the two major tournaments of this year.
Suva is a team full of confidence and can compete with the best teams in the competition.
If they keep their game plan well they will be one of the contenders for the semi-final come Sunday.
The Capital City side has not yet engraved its name on the Pacific Community Cup but they are a consistent performer in recent years and will be no pushover at this year’s tournament.
Coached by Babs Khan, the Whites have some of the best players in the country at their disposal.
They have the country’s top players like goalkeeper Akuila Mataisuva, defenders Remeuru Takiate, Inoke Turaqalailai, Simone Nabenu, Malakai Rakula, Meli Codro, Waisake Navunigasau, Joeli Ranitu, Filipe Baravilala, midfielders Shahil Dave, Ravinesh Karan Singh, Vanuatu international Ronaldo Wilkins and strikers Azariah Soromon, Samuela Drudru, Sanaila Waqanicakau.
Suva opens its campaign against Labasa on Thursday, November 24 at 5.15 pm, before playing NZFFI All-Stars the next day at 3.30 pm. The last pool encounter will be against Lautoka on Saturday at 5 pm.
