The Vodafone Premier League (VPL) 2020 enters the final round of competition this week with every fixture having great impact on the teams.
As far as the top of the table is concerned, the Flow Valves Suva side look hot favourites to win the VPL crown.
The Babs Khan-coached Capital City Boys just needs a draw against Nadi and hope Rewa does not beat Lautoka by nine clear goals.
However, a win for Suva will be a clear cut confirmation for the title, without the need to worry about other results.
Fight for the second spot also continues as Ba and Nadi also joins the race to stand a chance for finishing as league runner up.
Another interesting clash in the final round is the ‘battle for survival’ between Navua and the current bottom of the table Nasinu.
The Mohammed Shafil-coached Navuans would be taking full advantage of play at home as a draw against the Tagi Vonolagi-coached giant-killers would secure its place in the Premier division for next season while Nasinu will be out for a victory at any cost.
The final round of the VPL would be the survival of the fittest.
On Saturday at 1.30pm, the Babasiga Lions will host the Men in Black at Subrail Park while Navua will host Nasinu at 7pm at the Uprising Sports Center.
On Sunday, Lautoka hosts Rewa at Churchill Park while Suva takes on Nadi at the ANZ Stadium. Both matches have a parallel kickoff at 3pm.
