The Suva Futsal side has won the Digicel National Futsal League Southern Zone after beating Rewa 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the FMF Gymnasium last Friday.
Deepal Singh scored first for the Whites while the birthday boy Akhitesh Kumar netted a brace. Iosefo Verevou and Setareki Hughes scored a goal each for Rewa.
Suva has 37 points while Rewa on second position has 33 points. Lami is on third place with 30 points. Tailevu Naitasiri is on fourth place with 25 points followed by Navua on fifth place with 20 points. Nasinu is on sixth place also with 20 points while Northland Tailevu is on the bottom of the table with eight points.
Suva will face Tailevu Naitasiri in the final round while Rewa will play Northland Tailevu and Nasinu will battle Navua this Wednesday at FMF Gymnasium in Suva.
The results in the Suva vs Tailevu Naitasiri and Rewa vs Northland Tailevu match will not change the standings but Nasinu and Navua match will decide who finishes on fifth position as both teams are on 20 points with Navua better goal difference.
The top four teams will feature in the Digicel Futsal Inter-District Championship which is expected to be played in January next year.
