Suva football boss Ritesh Pratap says they wanted to maintain their winning form in the Vodafone Premier League.
He said this after the Flow Valves sponsored side defeated Ba 2-1 on Sunday at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
“We have moved to second spot and we want to continue from here as we have five more matches to play,”
“We will take each match as it comes and win against champion team like Ba is boost for players,”
“Playing Ba is always tough but I am proud we have earned the much needed three points against them,”
The Capital City side will host Lautoka this Sunday and Partap believes it will be a tough match as well.
“We are not underestimating Lautoka as they have lost some matches but we know they are improving match by match and they will come out more prepared against us.”
Pratap urged fans to come out in numbers and support the team.
“We are lacking support from the fans and I urge fans to come out and boost the morale of the team in our campaign,”
The battle of two cities will kick at 2pm.
