Vodafone Fiji is immensely excited and proud to once again partner with the Fiji Football Association to host the 2020 Vodafone Women’s Inter District Championship. We all know the IDC is the Premier competition which everyone looks forward too every year and all teams train for weeks preparing their best teams for the tournament.
Our relationship with the Fiji Football Association has strengthen our commitment to extend our sponsorship to include the Women’s IDC. We will continue to support the work in developing Women’s Football and the importance of the IDC as it provides a platform where our districts can battle for National honours. No one can claim that Women’s Football is being neglected after the introduction of the IDC and we are thankful to Fiji Football for their foresight and commitment towards Women’s Football development in Fiji.
Vodafone Fiji understands the pressure to improve Women’s Sport in Fiji. The attraction of qualifying for The Olympics, World Cup, Oceania Games & Pacific Games are some lucrative competitions that lay the challenge for our teams. To qualify for these World competitions, the ground work will start in this tournament. Where the cream of our crop battle for the national Title. This is why Vodafone Fiji values its partnership with Fiji Football and our commitment to be the Exclusive sponsor of the 2020 Vodafone Women’s IDC.
We are excited to witness some exciting football in the next couple of days. Like we have seen in the past, there will always be some new talent identified at these tournaments so we encourage all players to come with your best foot forward. Your never know the opportunities that lay ahead after a sublime performance. We have all witnessed how sport have transformed lives of many young people. The opportunities are endless, so we pride ourselves as enablers of these transformation mediums and one of these is through our sponsorship of sports.
