Singh Remains Committed to Tavua FC Despite Transfers

2024 Fiji FA Coach of the Year, Dr. Diva Singh, has confirmed that he will continue as the head coach of Tavua FC this season, even after taking his transfer to Ba Football.

In a move aimed at maintaining his active participation in football and futsal, Singh has applied for a transfer to the YCF club and Clopcott FC for futsal. However, his dedication to Tavua FC remains steadfast.
“I have retired from district-level football but will continue playing for the club, and my move is because I reside in Ba,” said Singh.

“I have advised the Board and Management of Tavua Football Association, and with their approval, I have applied for the transfer to keep myself fit and active in football and futsal for the love of the game.”

Singh’s contributions to Tavua FC have been monumental. Under his guidance, the team achieved remarkable success last year, winning both the Senior League and the IDC. These victories secured Tavua’s promotion to the Premier League, a significant milestone for the team.

Despite his personal transfers, Singh emphasized his full commitment to Tavua FC this season.
“I am fully committed to coaching Tavua and look forward to elevating the team further this season,” he stated.

Singh’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping Tavua FC into a competitive force, and his continued involvement as head coach bodes well for their return to the Premier League.

Singh’s dual role as a coach and player underscores his passion for the sport and his desire to contribute to football at multiple levels. Tavua FC’s fans will undoubtedly be looking forward to seeing their team thrive under his experienced guidance.
