The Esy Kool Nadi FC registered its second consecutive win at home as they edged the defending champion Unique Rubber Stamp Suva FC 1-0 in the Digicel Premier League encounter at Prince Charles Park on Sunday.
Following its 2-0 win against Viti Water Flow Lautoka FC a week earlier, the Jetsetters looked more determined from the first whistle.
The Capital City Boys also created some goal-scoring opportunities however, Vereti Dickson stood tall under the sticks for Nadi.
Head coach Shalen Lal was happy with the performance which secured them maximum points.
“The boys have played well. If you compare them with the last match they played (against Lautoka), they have lifted their performance,” he said.
“Scoring in the first half was the best part for us.
“Hats off to Suva also as they played till the last minute.
“The week’s hard work and being better on the match day got us a win for Nadi.”
