Sahib sets FACT aim

The NZOTC Nasinu football side is not leaving any stones unturned as it prepares for better performance in the 2022 Digicel Fiji FACT.

Coach Mira Sahib says they are drawn in a tough pool with defending champions Suva, Ba, Tailevu Naitasiri, and host Nadroga.

“We will treat each match as final and yes we are going in the tournament with our tag ‘giant killers”

“We are under a new administration and we are eager to do our best in the tournament,” said Sahib

“We are playing Tailevu Naitasiri in the opener and we know they are a very good side so we will set our plans and hope the players execute the plan well in the game,”

“The first match is always important and I am sure we will do our best,”

Nasinu plays Tailevu Naitasiri at 11 am this Sunday at ANZ Stadium in Suva. Their second match is against Suva pm May 26 at 3 pm when the tournament proper starts at the Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

They will be bye on Friday, May 27, and plays host Nadroga on Saturday at 6 pm. Nasinu’s final group match will be against RC Manubhai Ba side on Sunday at 2 pm.
