Bula boys arrive in Qatar

The Digicel national football side had settled down well in Qatar for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 OFC preliminary competition.

Without wasting any time, the team headed off to its base camp at Hyatt Regency Oryx Hotel, checked-in, changed uniforms and went off to the nearby park for a light run.

Head coach Flemming Serristlev said they had two sessions straight after arriving from the flight.

“We just had 30 minutes of the first session after arriving so the players could have some movement,” said Serristlev

“We had very good sessions and I would say the pitch here is extremely good to train on and very positive for coming days.”

“The players are focused and excited as we see they are fully dedicated in training.”

“Our plan is to train every evening at 8pm here because we playing all the matches at that time, “said Serristlev

“I’m very confident with our team, they are step by step coming into very good conditions and the way we are playing here in the camp, it looks really good I’m optimistic”

The Bula Boys will open its campaign against New Caledonia on March 18.
