Rewa tops Veterans League

Rewa Masters are currently leading the Vodafone Veteran’s League Southern Zone with 19 points with two rounds of matches left to be played.

The Delta Tigers have played eight matches in which they have won six drew one and lost one.

The top of the table clash will be played this Saturday in which defending champions Nasinu Masters will face Rewa Masters.

Nasinu Masters sit on second position with eighteen points in which they won five, drew three and are unbeaten.

Rewa has the services of former Rewa reps Pita Rabo, Patrick Wise, Carsten Wise, Joela Baleidrokadroka, Michael Maharaj, former Tavua rep Mohammed Taslim, and legend Kini Tamani while Nasinu has the experience of Ronald Ram, Valerio Nasema, Usaia Tadu, Ashwin Chand, Lawrence Robert, Jalindar Singh, Itesh Singh, Jagindar Singh, Binesh Kumar, Rajendra Junior, Dharman Prasad and Vikash Prasad Vicky.

Meanwhile newcomers Northland Tailevu is on third position with 12 points while Suva City Masters are on fourth position with ten points.

Suva Combine sit on fifth position with seven points while Tailevu Nairasiri sit on the bottom of the table with two points.
