Rewa, Suva to battle for OCL spot

Rewa FC and All Freight Logistics Suva FC are set to take on the challenge of booking a ticket to the 2023 OFC Champions League.

The Delta Tigers as the winners of Digicel Premier League and the Capital City side as runner-up of last year will battle in a two-leg National Play-Off this Thursday and Sunday.

Both matches will be played at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal says it is going to be an exciting battle between the two arch-rivals.

“Rewa has been consistent last year while Suva dominated and we can expect firecrackers to explode when the two teams meet again for the qualification to the OCL 2023,” said Pal

“Both teams have been preparing well and getting ready for the important clash,”

“This Thursday will be the third time the two teams will meet this year as they played in the two-leg Pillay Garments Champion series and displayed constructive football,” said Pal

The first leg this Thursday will kick off at 7 pm while the second leg on Sunday will be played at 3 pm.
