The Rewa Football side climbed four places on the points table after its 3-0 victory over Moshin’s Insulation Nadroga FC in the Digicel Premier League encounter on Sunday.
The Delta Tigers is now placed second on the points table with eight points after five matches and edges out Nadi on a better goal difference.
Head coach Rodicks Singh was satisfied with the win as they played its home match far away from home.
He said the heat took its toll but the boys stood firm.
“This win, as I said, we always concentrated on the performance of the boys and even though the heat took its toll in the first half, the boys performed well and when they perform well the results come and that is why we win today (Sunday),” he said.
Singh said they would be working on a few areas of concern before taking on the Online I.T Solutions Ba FC this Sunday.
“Definitely there’s a lot of areas that we need to work on especially on our attacks.
“If we did finish all our chances, we would have been wining by a good goal margin but that’s the area of concern and some niggling injuries that we want to look at.
“Definitely Ba is one of the big teams in this competition now and we will go back to the drawing board and sort things out before we face Ba.”
Singh dedicated Sunday’s victory to his best friend Mavindra Menon on his 33rd birthday.
